Short answer: every hotel guest room needs four groups of supplies: bathroom linen (bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, bath mat), bed linen (sheets, pillowcases, blanket or duvet, mattress pad, pillows), bathroom and guest-room accessories, and housekeeping supplies to keep the room turned over. Use the checklist below when you open a property, renovate rooms or plan your next re-order.
1. Bathroom linen
- Bath towels – usually one per guest. Standard hotel size is 27 × 54 in; upscale rooms often use 30 × 56 in.
- Hand towels – one per guest, typically 16 × 30 in.
- Washcloths – one per guest, typically 13 × 13 in.
- Bath mat – one per bathroom.
- Pool towels – if you have a pool, stocked at the pool area rather than in rooms.
Shop all hotel towels, including bath mats and pool towels. To work out quantities, read how many towels a hotel needs.
2. Bed linen and bedding
- Flat and fitted sheets sized to each mattress (twin, full, queen or king).
- Pillowcases – two per pillow on the shelf so every pillow can be changed at once.
- Blanket, duvet or coverlet.
- Mattress pad or protector, and bed bug encasements where required.
- Pillows.
Browse hotel sheets and linens by thread count, hotel blankets and mattress covers and pads. Always measure mattress depth before ordering fitted sheets.
3. Bathroom and guest-room accessories
- Shower curtain or liner and hooks.
- Shower head and bathroom fixtures in good working order.
- Waste bins for the bathroom and bedroom.
- Hangers, luggage rack and in-room items set by your brand standards.

4. Housekeeping and back-of-house
- Linen carts and storage shelving organised by par level.
- Cleaning cloths and bar mop towels for housekeeping, kitchens and bars.
- Laundry supplies sized for commercial cotton loads.
How much should you order?
Order linen by par level: one par is one complete setup for every room. Most properties keep about three pars of towels and sheets so one is in use, one is in the laundry and one is on the shelf. Because our products are sold by the full case, convert your piece count into cases using the pack size shown on each product page. Our case-pack ordering guide shows how.
