How many hotel towels should I order?

Use rooms × towels of each type per room × par level. For example, 50 rooms × 2 bath towels × 3 par = 300 bath towels. At 30 towels per case, order 10 cases. This planning example assumes a full-room setup; adjust for your laundry turnaround, occupancy and replacement needs.

What does a 3-par towel inventory mean?

One par is one complete room setup. In this 3-par planning model, one setup is in rooms, one is in laundry and one is clean reserve. A 50-room property supplying 2 bath towels per room needs 100 bath towels per par, 300 at 3 par or 400 at 4 par. Extra safety stock is separate.

Are hotel towel prices per piece, dozen or case?

Check the selected product and pack. One dozen is 12 pieces; 2.5 dozen is 30 pieces; 6 dozen is 72 pieces. A product labelled Case of 30 is priced for that case. Variable collections require a purchase-option selection to show the exact pack price. Collection photographs may show items sold separately.

How do I compare towel weight and GSM?

Compare pounds per dozen at the same towel dimensions. Approximate GSM = (lb per dozen × 453.592) ÷ (12 × width in inches × length in inches × 0.00064516). A 24 × 50 inch towel at 10.5 lb/dozen calculates to about 513 GSM. This conversion uses listed dimensions and weight; it is not a laboratory measurement or a guaranteed finished GSM.
